Not all extraction is equal — pulling water off a surface and actually removing it from carpet pad, subfloor, and wall cavities are different jobs entirely. Our Water Extraction crews do the second one.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter against a dry baseline, not by how the surface looks or feels, since a floor can appear dry while the material underneath stays saturated.
We'd rather explain the water extraction process clearly upfront than have you find out the hard way what a shortcut costs later.
These four things matter together, not in isolation — certification, speed, honest pricing, and the right equipment are what actually change the outcome of a water extraction call.
Truck-mount capacity handles larger losses without slowing down partway through.
A job isn't finished until moisture readings confirm it, not a visual pass-through.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
The quote reflects the actual square footage and severity, not a per-gallon meter running up.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each piece of the process below gets its own specific approach.
Standing water comes out first, then detailed extraction moves into carpet, pad, and seams.
We adjust technique for engineered versus solid hardwood, since they respond differently to moisture.
Pad gets extracted independently from the carpet surface, since it retains water far longer.
Slab surfaces absorb and release moisture on a different timeline than wood subfloor.
Furniture and upholstered items get evaluated on-site for extraction versus replacement.
We don't sign off on extraction without a documented reading behind it.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
Dispatch gathers just enough detail to load the right equipment before the truck leaves.
The truck that arrives is stocked specifically for Water Extraction jobs, not a generic handyman setup.
The assessment sets the whole plan, so we don't rush it even when the visible damage looks minor.
We stand behind the result with a documented sign-off, not just a verbal assurance.
These reviews come from real water extraction calls, not a curated highlight reel.
"Moisture readings after the fact gave me real confidence, not just a verbal assurance."
Jasper L., Goodells"Our office flooded overnight and extraction was finished before staff walked in for the morning shift."
Rosalind P., Goodells"Extraction from our finished basement slab was handled with a completely different approach than I expected, and they explained why."
Micah S., Goodells"They extracted from behind built-in cabinetry without damaging the cabinets themselves, which I honestly hadn't expected them to manage."
Fernanda Q., Goodells"They walked me through exactly what the moisture meter was reading at each stage."
Zora P., GoodellsThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
